Links stay on your Mac
The app processes links locally and passes them directly to the browser you select. The full URL, including query parameters and fragments, is preserved. Browser Picker does not transmit your links to Pocket Bits LLC or save a history of opened URLs.
Your selected browser and the destination website apply their own privacy practices.
Saved preferences
Browser Picker stores website domain rules, browser identifiers, visibility preferences, the fallback browser choice, and the recently used browser locally on your Mac. These preferences are not uploaded or synchronized by the app.
Pending links exist only in memory and are discarded when the app quits. You can delete website rules and change browser preferences in Settings.
Support you choose to contact
If you email Pocket Bits LLC for help, we receive the email address and information you choose to include. This is separate from app operation. Please avoid including private URLs or sensitive information in your message. We use your message to respond to your support request.
This policy and the website
This policy describes Browser Picker. The app-specific support and privacy pages add no analytics, advertising scripts, or forms. The hosting provider processes requests to serve the pages and may use service cookies. Other Pocket Bits apps, websites, browsers, and destination websites may have different privacy policies.
Changes
If the app's privacy practices change, Pocket Bits LLC will update this policy and its effective date.
